Moving Parts

Directed by Steve Rogers

Moving Parts is a dark comic thriller written by David Nobay. In an exclusive London shop, a young man consults a salesman in his quest for the perfect watch. Their discussion about the perfect timepiece becomes a fight to reconcile the past, present and future. The Australian play was created by a unique team drawn from the Australian theatre and film industries. Directed by Steve Rogers, produced by Will O’Rourke, and starring Colin Friels and Josh McConville, the play ran to near capacity crowds at the NIDA Parade Playhouse in July and August 2013.

“With the script throwing in some unexpected turns and great dialogue after the big ‘reveal’, and watching Friels and McConville play against each other, with no distractions, is just a total pleasure. 4 stars.” – TimeOut Sydney

“A production company that launches new, beautifully presented Australian plays with genuine international artistic heavyweights both onstage and backstage is loudly to be applauded.” – Stage Whispers
