CGU: Max's Story

by The Glue Society

Max’s Story is a project directed by The Glue Society for cummins&partners and CGU Insurance, focused on small business survival. Max's story was a theatre and documentary project in collaboration with cummins&partners. It followed the story of Max Cunningham from Marion Bay Oysters Tasmania, who had lost everything during bush fires in 2013. Every detail of his life was carefully researched, documented and faithfully re-created on stage in a play written and directed by The Glue Society. Max was then invited to the show at Tasmania’s Palais Theatre, completely unaware that he was the star.
